Obituary
Richard Stoddard "Pops" Walker, 70, of Luray, passed away on Friday, Oct. 29, 2021.
He was born on June 13, 1951, in Jacksonville, Fla., and was a son of the late Robert Walker and Rossie DeFee Walker.
"Pops" was a Sergeant First Class in the United States Army, with 20 years of service. He was a singer and songwriter.
On Sept. 22, 1984, he married Roberta Wells, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Zach Walker of Georgia; and two brothers, George Walker and wife Ritu, and Robert Walker and wife Erin, all of Jacksonville, Fla.
