Ralph Edward Janes

Ralph Edward Janes, 83, of Luray, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Page Memorial Hospital.

He was born on January 22, 1941, in West Virginia and was a son of the late Delbert W. Janes and Iona Myers Janes.

Ralph worked as an IT manager for Bell Atlantic, retiring with 31 years of service. He was a member of the Page United Methodist Church.

On April 6, 1963, he married Linda Marie Smith Janes, who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Kenneth Janes and wife Melissa of Ashland, and Ralph Edward "Eddie" Janes of Germany; a daughter, Debbie Cubbage and husband Terry of Stanley; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul D. Janes.

The family has planned a private service.
