Penny Lynn (Cubbage) Griffith

Penny Lynn Griffith, 52, of Luray, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Blue Ridge Hospice in Winchester.

She was born on June 14, 1972, in Harrisonburg and was a daughter of Juanita Cubbage of Stanley and the late Freeman "Salty" Cubbage.

Penny worked for the CIA in the HR department and was a member of the Antioch Independent Bible Church. She loved her family and friends, the beach and her cats.

On October 22, 2016, she married Gregory Allen Griffith, who survives.

Surviving in addition to her mother and her husband are two sons, Tony Griffith and Xander Griffith, both of Luray. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce Cubbage.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3, at the Antioch Independent Bible Church.

A funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon on Wednesday, December 4, at the church by Pastor Alan Jones. Burial will be in the Leake’s Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.
