Patsy Fay Housden, 72, of Luray, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Consulate Health Care in Woodstock.
She was born on November 16, 1950, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Charles Elwood Foster Sr. and Mabeda Gray Foster.
Patsy worked in the photo lab at Walmart and was a member of the Harvest Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by a son, David Housden and wife Cara of Clear Brook; two daughters, Tammy Whetzel and husband Brett of Woodstock, and Amy Ernst of Luray; two brothers, Charles Elwood Foster Jr. of Rileyville, and Victor Foster of Stanley; a sister, Beth Alger of Luray; and four grandchildren, Hunter and Natalie Whetzel, Ashlee Housden and Michael Ernst.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, at the Bradley Funeral Home by the Rev. Terry Cave. Burial will be in the Graves Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, at the funeral home.
