Patricia Ann (Littleton) Gilbert

Patricia Ann Gilbert, 87, of Luray, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

She was born on October 22, 1938, in Tennessee and was a daughter of the late Marvin Esco Littleton Sr. and Ruth Elizabeth Milligan Littleton.

Patricia was a member of the Mount Zion Church of the Brethren.

On June 3, 1956, she married William Edward Gilbert, who died on July 19, 2019.

Patricia is survived by a daughter, Debra Croson and husband Gordon of Luray; a son, Larry Gilbert and wife Bonnie of Haymarket; seven grandchildren, Heather Weaver (Craig), Billy Legg (Nikki), Catherine Krempa (Kevin), Dawn Shamblin, Shawn Thomas (Tony), Heather Croson, and Danielle Gilbert; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Gilbert; four brothers, Marvin Esco Littleton Jr., Joe Littleton, Jackie Ray Littleton and Michael Lee Littleton; and two sisters, Carolyn Littleton and Melba "Sue" Wilson.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, at the Bradley Funeral Home by Pastor Josh Bowen. Burial will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Luray.
