Patricia A. "Patsy" Richards

Patricia Ann "Patsy" Richards, 77, of Shenandoah, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Skyview Springs Nursing and Rehab in Luray.

She was born on January 5, 1948, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Mae Florene Walters Freeze.

Patsy had worked at Wrangler, retiring with 26 years of service.

Her husband, Charles M. Richards Sr., preceded her in death.

Patsy is survived by a son, Charles Richards Jr. and wife Mindy of Shenandoah; a daughter, Donna M. Buckley of Shenandoah; four grandchildren, Eric Richards of Hinton, Johnathan Buckley of Stanley, Aaron Richards and wife Nicole of Luray, and Makenzie Richards of Shenandoah; and a great-grandson, Grayson Smelser.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, February 24, at the Newport Covenant Brethren Church.

Pastor Duane Painter will conduct the funeral service at the church beginning at 12 noon on Tuesday, February 25. Burial will be in the Leake’s Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.
