Norma Jean Pitts, 91, of Rileyville, passed away on Friday, Dec. 25, 2020, at Page Memorial Hospital.
She was born on Sept. 17, 1929, in Sperryville and was a daughter of the late Vincent Puffenberger and Ruby Keyser Puffenberger.
Norma worked for Page Valley Bank in Luray for 25 years.
On June 20, 1947, Norma married Ray Junior Sours, who died on May 19, 1995.
She is survived by a son, Steven Sours and wife Mary Lee of Rileyville; two daughters, Anita "Nitsy" Sherwood, and Arlene Gregory and husband John, all of Luray; six grandchildren, special granddaughter Genea Gray and husband David, Vincent Ray Sours and wife Laura, and China Martin and husband Chad, all of Luray, Logan Sherwood of Fairfax, Matt Gregory and wife Elayna of Bealeton, and Chris Gregory ans wife Marni of Lewes, Del.; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Puffenberger.
Services are planned for a later date.
