We lost a piece of our heart, while God gained an angel
Nancy Hunter Tower-Haley, 75, of Stanley, Va., passed away on March 31, 2022.
She was born on November 10, 1946, in Luray, Va. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Eleanor and John Woodrow Dovel of Stanley.
Nancy was known of her loving and kind heart, a strong spirit and unconditional love for all who knew her.
She is survived by her six children, Lucian Lee Tower of Concord, N.H., Anna Ash of Nashville, Tenn., Hope Tower of Harrisonburg, Va., Shelly Bidini of Shelbyville, Tenn., John Tower and wife Jean of Shelbyville, Tenn., and Martin Short and wife Angela of Cape Coral, Fla.; along with 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brother-in-law and sister, Charles and Georgia Duncan.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, at the Bradley Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, at the Stanley United Methodist Church, 162 E. Main Street, Stanley.
