Morris Russell "Moose" Good, 70, of Stanley, passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025.
He was born on January 28, 1955, in Luray and was a son of the late Russell Good and Nellie Mae Campbell Good.
Moose had worked as a carpenter at the World Bank for 30 years. He was a member of the Luray Moose Lodge and had also played in the Men's Softball League, primarily with J&R Softball for 15 years.
Moose is survived by his companion of 37 years, Claudia Good of Stanley; two brothers, James Alvin Good of Stanley, and Shirley Good of Shenandoah; a sister, Vada Seal of Rileyville; three stepsons, Chad Kite, John Kite and Greg Kite; three granddaughters, Peyton Kite, Blakley Kite, and Lauren Mauck and husband Johnnie; and one great-grandson, John Mauck. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Lee Good.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, at the Bradley Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 7, at the Sandy Glaze Cemetery in Stanley by Pastor Jeff Lucas.
