Misty Lynn (Foltz) Pierce

Misty Lynn Pierce, 45, of Stanley, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.

She was born on Dec. 14, 1974, in Rockingham and was a daughter of Lynwood and Sue Foltz of Shenandoah and Darlene Good of Stanley.

On Nov. 4, 2000, she married Timothy M. Pierce, who survives.

Misty was a pre-K teacher at Mount Carmel Christian Academy. She lived and loved the Lord, and especially loved children, as well as her family. 

Surviving in addition to her parents and her husband are three sons, Christopher Pierce and wife Allysha of Luray, Christian Pierce and girlfriend Riley Knight of Stanley, and Canaan Pierce, also of Stanley; a brother, Barry Wade Foltz of Stanley; and one grandson, Sawyer Pierce of Luray. 

Memorial services were conducted on Friday, July 24, at the Mount Carmel Regular Baptist Church. The first, held at 11 a.m., was open for family and church family to attend. The second service, conducted at 3 p.m., was open to her school friends and members of the community.
