Obituary
Michael Anthony “Mike” Lucas Sr., 61, of Stanley, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, at Winchester Medical Center.
He was born on Aug. 23, 1959, in Virginia and was a son of the late Russell Levi Lucas and Edda Virginia Lucas.
Mike was a member of the Blue Ridge Pentecostal Church in Stanley.
He is survived by four sons, Michael Lucas and wife Ryan, and Mark Lucas, all of Stanley, and David Lucas and wife Sarah, and Jason Lucas and wife Brandy, all of Luray; 10 grandchildren, Langston, Emery, Brianna, Derek, Emma, Ally, Kynnly, Hudson and Brandson Lucas, and Emily Clarke; eight brothers, Leroy, Kenneth, Junior, Bruce, Levi, Nelson and Larry Lucas, all of Stanley, and Dale Owen Lucas of Strasburg; four sisters, Josephine O’Neill of Elkton, and Judy Lucas, Margaret Moore and Stella Miller, all of Stanley. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Gary Lucas; two sisters, Ethal Mae Lucas and Patrisha Lucas; and one grandchild, Jacob Lucas.
Due to COVID-19, facial coverings and social distancing restrictions will be followed.
