Mary Sue (Lilly) Richards

Mary Sue Lilly Richards, 81, of Luray, died on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.

She was born on May 29, 1943, in the Elkton area and was the daughter of the late Edward and Lucille Lilly.

Mary graduated from Montevideo High School, Class of 1961. She was employed at Wrangler for 25 years and was an Auxiliary member of the Elkton Emergency Squad for nine years.

Growing up Mary attended the Mount Zion Church in the McGaheysville area, and later she attended the Upper Room Church in Elkton.

On October 26, 1997, she married Glendon Alfred Richards, who died on August 3, 2024.

Mary is survived by a son, Todd Lilly. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Lilly and Leroy Lilly; and three sisters, Joyce Lam, Jannette Lam and Dorothy Richards.

There will be no service or visitation.
