Mary Frances (Foltz) Nichols

Mary Frances Nichols, 77, of Shenandoah, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at her home.

She was born on August 6, 1947, in Harrisonburg and was a daughter of the late Vernon Isaac Foltz and Anna Mae Huffman Foltz.

Mary was a graduate of Page County High School, Class of 1965. She was a member of the Newport Christian Church and the Women's Fellowship.

On February 14, 1969, she married Louis Wesley Nichols, who died on July 10, 2022.

Mary is survived by two sons, Mark Nichols and Kevin Nichols (wife Mallory Nichols), both of Harrisonburg; one brother, Page L. Foltz Sr. of Shenandoah; a grandson, Keigen Nichols of Harrisonburg; and a granddaughter, Paige Nichols of Harrisonburg. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul Edward Foltz, Randolph C. Foltz and Carroll L. Foltz; and a sister, Hazel Brooks.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, at the Newport Christian Church in Shenandoah.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday, May 19, at the church by Pastor Tracy Shifflett and Pastor Mike Nichols. Burial will be in the Newport Christian Cemetery.
