Mary Ann (Stanley) Hines

Mary Ann Hines, 88, of Luray, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Harrisonburg Health and Rehab.

She was born on September 9, 1936, in Luray and was a daughter of the late James Franklin Stanley and Mary Elizabeth Duncan Stanley.

Mary was a member of the Mount Carmel Regular Baptist Church.

Her husband, Loraine Talford Hines, died on March 24, 1997.

Mary is survived by a son, Steven T. Hines and wife Darlene of Luray; a granddaughter, Stephanie Stewart of Luray; and three great-grandchildren, Aaron Michael Keyser, Katelyn Keyser and Macey Keyser, all of Luray. She was preceded in death by five sisters, Dorothy Silvious, Lillian Stanley, Betty Armstrong, June Higgs and Thelma Good; and one brother, Ray Stanley.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 13, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Luray by Pastor Mike Nichols.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, at the Bradley Funeral Home.
