Mary Ann Brubaker, 66, of Luray, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026.
She was born on August 1, 1959, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Daniel William Brubaker and Coralee Rebecca Seekford Brubaker Frymyer.
Mary was a 1977 graduate of Luray High School. She attended Ferrum College (1977-1979) and James Madison University (1979-1981), earning degrees in kinesiology and sports medicine. She was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Phi Sorority and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Mary was a teacher at Luray High School from 1981-1987. Her working career also included the Census Bureau (1987-1990), White Oak Outfitters (1989-1996) and Bill's Guns and Taxidermy (1996-2011). She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Luray.
Mary is survived by a son, John Daniel Brubaker Graves of Luray; a daughter, Elizabeth Jackson Graves Good of Luray; and two sisters, Nancy Lee Brubaker of Luray, and Frances Emma Brubaker of Southampton, PA.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, at Luray United Methodist Church by the Rev. Erich Bennett. Burial will be in the Brubaker Family Cemetery in Luray.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Luray United Methodist Church, to the Luray Volunteer Fire Department, or to the Luray Volunteer Rescue Squad.
