Mark Wade Richards

Mark Wade Richards, 66, of Luray, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center.

He was born on January 7, 1959, in Luray and was a son of the late Buford Walter Richards Sr. and Virginia Mae Jenkins Richards.

Mark is survived by a daughter, Laura Turner and husband Curtis of Stanley; two sisters, Rebecca Kling of Luray, and Patricia Ambrose of Stephens City; and two brothers, Matthew Richards of Luray, and Rex Richards of Broadway. He was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Combs; and three brothers, Buford Walter Richards Jr., Calvin Franklin Richards and Roger Walton Richards.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m on Thursday, August 14, at the Luray Pentecostal Church.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 15, at the church by the Rev. Daniel D. Herring. Burial will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Luray.
