Marilyn Catherine (Seery) Rule

Marilyn Catherine Rule, 83, of Luray, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

She was born on September 13, 1942, in New York and was a daughter of the late John Seery and Dorothy Moriarty Seery.

Marilyn was a member of the VFW Post 5199 Auxiliary in Oceanside, NY.

She is survived by her husband, Perry Rule; three sons, Jason Rule of Luray, Desmond Rule and wife Cathy of Richmond, and Frank Pubins and wife Kathi of California; two brothers, Peter Seery and spouse Kevin of New Hampshire, and Michael Seery and wife Patricia of Florida; and five grandchildren, Camron Rule, Jaci Pubins, Jaimi Pubins, Tyler Pubins and Sean Pubins. She was preceded in death by a son, John Pubins; two sisters, Teresa Meehan and Deborah Seery; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Pubins.
