Obituary
Maria Annette "Ann" Darnell, 76, of Rileyville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 26, 2023.
She was born on November 14, 1946, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Warder O. Harvey and Mary Loring Miller Harvey.
Maria worked for Page Valley Bank, Jordan Hollow Farms and Southern States. She was a member of the Rileyville Gospel Church.
On September 20, 1970, Maria married Steve Darnell, who survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Anthony E. Darnell of Rileyville; a daughter, Jennifer Headman and husband Chris of Luray; two brothers, Timothy C. Harvey and Warder M. "Buzzy" Harvey, both of Luray; a grandson, Thomas William Weaver of Charlottesville; and a granddaughter, Kristen Maria Weaver of Luray. She was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Beahm; and a brother, Phillip Harvey.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 12, at the Rileyville Gospel Church by Pastor Donnie Lam.
