M. Barbare Obituary
M. Joe Barbare, 65, of Rhoadesville, Va., passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022.
He was born on March 29, 1957, in Greenville, S.C., and was a son of the late James Calvin Barbare and Willie Mae Jenkins Barbare.
Joe worked for Exide Battery as a forklift operator.
On July 15, 1995, he married Cindy Moess Barbare, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Tracy Henning of Greer, S.C.; three sons, Jerry W. Barbare and wife Amanda of Greer, S.C., Robert Moess and wife Teresa of Orange, and Joseph Moess of Culpeper; two sisters, Sybil Bruce of Greer, S.C., and Rene Willis and husband John of Marietta, S.C.; one brother, Charles Barbare and wife Jenny of Rapidan; 14 grandchildren, Patty, Autumn, James, Jenna, Tyler, Christopher Joe, Brookelyn, Justin, Kayden, Ean, Lucas, Davina, Christy and Leanna; and 10 great-grandchildren, Kelley, Todd, Olivia, Syair, Bubby, Haley, Skylar, Hayden, Sanston and Kayla.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 29, at the Bradley Funeral Home by the Rev. Dan Ellis and Darryl Harvin. Burial will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Luray
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, at the funeral home.
