Lucy Ellen "Tiny" Kelly

Lucy Ellen "Tiny" Kelly, 78, of Mount Jackson, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024.

She was born on November 18, 1945, in Harrisonburg and was a daughter of the late Nellie Virginia Strawderman Perkins and stepdaughter of the late John Garrett Perkins.

Tiny was employed at the Aileen factory in Edinburg and the Showboat in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was a member of the Fairview Church of the Brethren near Endless Caverns.

Her husband of more than nine years, Patrick Kelly, died in 1988. 

She is survived by two sisters, Judy McAlexander and Linda Funk, both of New Market; along with several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews; and her companion of more than 10 years, Butch Shirkey of Mount Jackson.

Per her wishes, there will be no services.
