Lois Roll Obituary

Lois Ann Cubbage Roll, 63, of Stanley, Va., was welcomed into the gates of Heaven surrounded by her fiancé and daughters on the night of Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Winchester Medical Center.

She was born on July 3, 1958, in Luray, Va., and was the daughter of the late Stephen McKinley Cubbage and Mary Ann Cubbage.
In earlier years, Lois worked for the Genie Corporation of Shenandoah for numerous years. She was a loving and caring fiancée, mother, grandmother and sister, as well as a devoted friend to many.

Her husband, Harold Roll, died on Dec. 18, 2002.
She leaves to cherish her memories and to carry on her life legacy her fiancé, David Ambros of Stanley; two daughters, Jennifer Holland and fiancé Brian Cardin, and Amber Cubbage and husband Brad Cubbage; a brother, Kenny Cubbage and wife Stephanie Cubbage of Stanley; four sisters, Diane Knight and husband Troy Knight of Ruckersville, Lisa Printz of Stanley, Brenda Scott and husband James Scott, also of Ruckersville, and Dixie Turner and husband Mike Turner of Seneca, S.C.; two stepsons, Kenneth and Randy Roll; four grandchildren, Kyler Cubbage, Brynlee Cubbage, Carter Cubbage and Harper Cardin, and a fifth grandchild due in April, Hope Cardin. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Tony and Rex Cubbage.
Lois attended the Antioch Independent Bible Church in Luray, where the funeral will be conducted by Pastor Jeffery Lucas on Feb. 2, 2022, at 2 p.m. The burial will follow at Leake's Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.

In addition, the family will receive friends at the church on Feb. 1 from 6-8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Association.
