Lois Strickler Foley

Lois Strickler Foley, 90, of Luray, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024.

She was born on December 14, 1933, in Virginia and was a daughter of the late Hubert Monroe Strickler and Annie E. Shirley Strickler.

Lois worked alongside her husband at William E. Foley and Sons Inc., out of Chantilly, VA. She was a member of the Page United Methodist Church in Luray.

On July 28, 1962, she married William Eugene Foley, who died on February 20, 2014.

Lois is survived by two sons, William Frederick "Fred" Foley and wife Amy of Luray, and David Lee Foley and girlfriend Michelle Anthony of Fairfax; two grandchildren, Christa Foley Burns and husband William, and William Gregory "Billy" Foley and wife Ashley; four great-grandchildren, Brynlee Foley, Anna Burns, Gracie Burns and Wilder Foley; and one step great-grandson, Mikey Wine. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Ann Carey and Wilma Genet; and two brothers, James H. Strickler and McKendra Strickler.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 11, at the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray by Pastor John Stelzl.
