Obituary

Larry Page Comer, 74, of Shenandoah, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020.

He was born on Dec. 13, 1945, and was a son of the late Jean Comer Shenk.

Larry is survived by two daughters, Annita Steppe of Waynesboro, and Tammy Thomas of McGaheysville; a son, Calvin Ray Thomas of Elkton; three brothers, Barry and Eddie Shenk, both of Shenandoah, and Randy Shenk of Stanley; a sister, Carolyn Shifflett of Elkton; a special friend, Sammy Freeze of Luray; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Clark and brother James Comer. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Shenandoah by Pastor Robert Thomas, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 p.m.

Burial will be in the Davis Family Cemetery in Shenandoah.
