Kenneth Leo Sours

Kenneth Leo Sours, 91, of Luray, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023. 
He was born on Oct. 3, 1931, in Rileyville and was a son of the late Raymond Sola Sours and Mildred Marie Bradley Sours.
Kenneth worked as a lineman for Allegheny Power and enjoyed driving for Richards Bus as well as a member of the Shenandoah Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
On April 14, 1954, he married Hazel Elnora Robinson Sours, who died on July 5, 2020. 
He is survived by three daughters, Judi Crawford of Penn Laird, Teresa Bailey and husband Tim of Shenandoah,  and Kennea Solomon and husband Seymour of Harrisonburg; a son, Kenneth A. Sours and wife Sherry of Front Royal; two sisters, Charlotte Meadows and Frances Strickler, both of Luray; a brother, Eddie Sours of Rileyville; a daughter-in-law, Sherrie Jean Sours of Rileyville; a special granddaughter, Cyndi Allen of Luray, as well as 25 other grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Robert Eugene "Bob" Sours, daughter, Wanda Dovel; and two brothers,  E. Peabody Sours and Robert A. Sours. 

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15, at the Bradley Funeral Home by the Rev. James Kite. Burial will be in the Rileyville Cemetery. 
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14, at the funeral home.
