Kenneth William Cullers

Kenneth William Cullers, 88, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at his home in Luray, VA, and went to be with the Lord. 

He was born on February 6, 1935, and was the son of the late Lynn and Clara Cullers.

Kenneth graduated from Luray High School and the Newport News Shipyard and Drydock Company's Apprentice School. He retired after 42 years as an engineer and returned to the Shenandoah Valley for his retirement years. He served with the National Guard.

Kenneth was a member of the Page United Methodist Church and also worshipped at the Stanley Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patsy Comer Cullers; a son, Stephen William Cullers and companion Penny Harmon of Churchville, VA; a granddaughter, Fiona J. Cullers of Churchville; two sisters, Betty Anderson and husband Johnny of Harrisonburg, and Bonnie Wilson and husband Jeff of Luray; a niece, Beth Anderson of Alabama; and a nephew, Jon Anderson and wife Cleide of Harrisonburg. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Wendy Lynne Cullers.

His service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 31, at the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray by Pastor Gary Nicholson. Burial will follow the service.

Guests are invited for a meal and fellowship after the service at the Stanley Baptist Church.
