The Very Rev. Father Kenneth Kyrill Proctor Bracy 52, of Luray, died on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021.
He was born on Nov. 24, 1969, in Boston, Mass., and was a son of Leslie Alys Proctor Brooks of Luray and the late Kenneth Murray Bracy.
Fr. Bracy was a priest of the French Orthodox Church Sts. Joachim & Anna.
On Feb. 2, 1991, he married Dena Annette Merrill Bracy, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his mother and his wife are his stepfather, Larry Brooks of Luray; his stepmother, Anne Bracy of Williamsburg; a brother, Jason Bracy of Clifton; a sister, Ruth Ewald of Grovetown, Ga.; and two stepbrothers, David Brooks of Fairfax, and Bryan Brooks of Richmond; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29, at the Bradley Funeral Home by Father Paul Dupuis, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 p.m. Burial will be in the Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray.
