Junior Ralph Turner, 83, of Stanley, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025.
He was born on June 13, 1942, in Luray and was a son of the late Calvin C. Alger and Essie Elizabeth Turner Alger.
Junior worked as a service tech for Wampler-Longacre Foods, formerly Rockingham Poultry, retiring in 2007 with more than 39 years of service. He was a member of the Antioch Independent Bible Church in Luray.
He is survived by two sons, Steve Turner of Stanley, and Ralph Turner of Broadway; a daughter, Kathy Breeden of Luray; a brother, Larry E. Alger of Stanley; a sister, Peggy Rucker of Shenandoah; four grandchildren, Josh Breeden, Justin Turner, Jordan Turner and Jadyn Turner; and three great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Wesley and Jackson Turner. He was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Painter.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, at the Antioch Independent Bible Church by Pastor Alan Jones, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 p.m.
