Journey Wilton Campbell

Journey Wilton Campbell, 83, of Stanley, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024.

He was born on September 17, 1941, in Stanley and was a son of the late Ausby Campbell and Mertie McCoy Campbell.

His wife, Pauline Diana Dallas Campbell, died on July 13, 2010.

Journey is survived by a son, Darrell Campbell of Stanley; and a brother, Randy Campbell of Stanley. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Ollie Mae Stoneberger, Gladys Campbell, Betty Lou McCoy and Naomi Campbell; and a brother, Steven Campbell.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, at the Stanley New Hope Pentecostal Church.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18, at the church by Pastor Randy Miller. Burial will be in the Leake’s Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.
