Joseph Lyle Banker

Joseph Lyle Banker, 71, of Stanley, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center.

He was born on August 15, 1953, in Maryland and was a son of the late Keith Banker and Helen Kirby Crain.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Sally Lowery Banker, are three daughters, Sara Rothgeb and husband Ricky of Stanley, Vivian Turner of Elkton, and Ashley Nobles of Hedgesville, WV; and nine grandchildren, Riley, Karmen and Isaiah Rothgeb, Gabriel and Ainsley Turner, and Eli, Chase, Gage and Ethan Nobles.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, February 17, at the Stanley United Methodist Church.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, at the church by Elisabeth Dalton. Burial will be in the Graves Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.
