Johnny Laverne Whittaker

Johnny Laverne Whittaker, 75, of Luray, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Page Memorial Hospital.

He was born on February 16, 1950, in Winchester and was a son of the late John Harold Whittaker and Sarah Mae Bell Whittaker.

Johnny was a member of the Beth Eden Lutheran Church.

On December 29, 1981, he married Pamila Whittaker, who survives.

In addition to his wife, Johnny is survived by a daughter, Jessica Whittaker and husband Dmitriy of Luray; a son, Johnny Whittaker of Front Royal; a son-in-law, Joe McCarthy of Luray; a sister, Patty Wright and husband Bobby of Florida; two brothers, Ronnie Whittaker and wife Barbie, and Paul Whittaker, all of Front Royal; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal McCarthy; and a sister, Diane Webb.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, at the Beth Eden Lutheran Church by Kim Good.
