John Banach

John Banach, 97, of Stanley, died on Thursday, March 18, 2021.

He was born on Sept. 2, 1923, in Pennsylvania and was a son of the late Joseph Banach and Antoinette Banach.

Mr. Banach worked for Masonite Corporation for 25 years.

On Jan. 1, 1951, he married Marjorie Broyles Banach, who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are four sons, John and Stanley Banach, both of Stanley, Robert Banach of Gloucester, and Richard Banach of Middlesboro, Ky.; two daughters, Marjorie Quillen of Luray, and Bonnie Moore of Shenandoah; a sister, Josephine Mietla of Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by eight siblings and one granddaughter.

A private graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, March 23, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Luray.
