Jimmie Laquetta Addison, 94, of Luray, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Valley Health Medical Center in Winchester, VA.
She was born on February 1, 1931, in Virginia and was a daughter of the late William Henry Horn and Matilda Alice Keene Horn.
Laquetta was a member of the Worldwide Church of God for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Opie Addison.
Laquetta is survived by three daughters, Rita F. Millman and husband Rick of The Villages, FL, Nina L. Deemer and husband Mike of Orange, and Dana Johnston and husband Stuart of Luray; a son, Allen Addison and wife Pam of Rixeyville; 18 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Lester M. Addison and Christopher "Chris" Addison; 3 sisters, Leona Horn Boyd, Arizona Horn Cole and Gussie Horn Mullins; and 5 brothers, Otis Horn, Thelmer Horn, Link Horn, Claude Horn and Raymond Horn.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, at the Bradley Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24, at the funeral home by Pastor Ron Young. Burial will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Luray.
