Jason Paul Cave

Jason Paul Cave, 54, of Stanley, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.

He was born on May 18, 1969, in Harrisonburg and was the son of JoAnn Cubbage Cave and the late Paul Page Cave of Stanley.

Jason was a devoted father, son, brother, pops and uncle. 

Surviving in addition to his mother are two sons, Jason Paul Cave Jr. of Stanley, and Jordan Tyler Cave of Bridgewater; a sister, Amy Cave Painter and husband Rusty Painter of Stanley; two grandchildren, Liam and Cole; two nieces, Heather Knight and husband Jeremiah Knight, and Brittany Frymyer and husband Bryan Frymyer, all of Stanley; two great nieces, Alexis and Olivia; and three great nephews, Kaiden, Lucas and Noah.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, at the Leake’s Chapel Church of the Brethren in Stanley by Pastor Duane Painter. Burial will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Luray.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, October 20, at the church.
