Jarriet Edward Cubbage Sr.

Jarriet Edward Cubbage Sr., 78, of Rileyville, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Page Memorial Hospital.

He was born on February 4, 1947, in Stanley and was a son of the late Kirby Edward Cubbage and Daisy Mae Cubbage.

Jarriet had worked as a machinist at Howell Metal for 19 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Vietnam War.

On December 25, 1974, he married the love of his life, Wanda Sue Lucas Cubbage, who passed away on April 5, 2025.

Jarriet is survived by two sons, Jarriet Edward Cubbage Jr. of Luray, and Curtis Cubbage and companion Tamara Middleton of Rileyville; a daughter, Daisy Jones and husband Rodney of Stanley; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Garfield Cubbage.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 on Monday, April 28, at the Bradley Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29, at the Compton Old Country Church of Jesus Christ by Pastor David Frazier and Pastor Jeff Lucas. Burial will be in the Rileyville Cemetery.
