Janice Lillian (Burge) Southers

Janice Lillian Southers, 84 of Stanley passed away Sunday November 13, 2022 at home. Born February 18, 1938 in Moundsville, West Virginia she was the daughter of the late Robert Burge and Eileen Ruth Davis Burge. She is survived by her sons; Robert Southers Sr and wife Bonnie Southers of Hinton, and Douglas Southers and wife Darlene Southers of Stanley, daughter in law; Pam Southers of Stanley, grandchildren; Steve (Holly) Showalter, Brandon Showalter, Kaitlyn (Tyler) Mayes, Jessica (Jerry) Wood, Melanie (Zach) Conner, Aaron Southers (Rachel Spano), Robert 'RJ' Southers Jr,  Jakob Southers (Cheyanne Bywaters), and Kristian Sours; though not by relation but by choice, great grandchildren; Brooke, Myles and Conner Showalter, Brantley Showalter, Harper and Rhett Mayes, Brooke Richards, Isabella Wood, Grayson and Lincoln Conner, and Kalvin Southers, great-great grandchild; Bristol Hart, nephews and their families; Tommy, Joanne and Corey Ash, Jaclyn and Brayden Petersen, Landon Harvey, Bobby, Sonya, Austin and Marlee Silvis; and partner, Aldine Cubbage.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Ellis Gordon Southers Sr, son; Ellis 'Bud' Southers Jr, sister; Nancy Warner, brother in law; Carson Warner, daughter in law; Donna Southers, niece; Eileen Warner and many other family members and dearly loved friends.
She will be truly missed by those who love her and is now surely celebrating the warm embrace of those whom she has missed for so long.
