Janet Lee Stoneberger passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home in Rileyville on May 25, 2026.
She was born September 28, 1946, and was the daughter of the late Buck and Dorothy Earnhart.
On October 12, 1963, she married Albert Lee (Gig) Stoneberger, who survives.
Janet is survived by three children, Jeff (Stoney) Stoneberger and fiancée Kay Lucas, Betty Jo Stoneberger and Kevin Stoneberger, all of Rileyville; six grandchildren, Bryan, Jessica, Joey, Dakota, Traci and Paul Michael; and two great-grandchildren, Izzy and Avery. Janet is also survived by a brother, Harvey Earnhart.
She was preceded in death by a son, Albert Lee Stoneberger Jr.; a granddaughter, Felicia Jo Hill; and a son-in-law, Dougie Hill.
Janet worked 20 years at Wrangler and many years cleaning motels in Luray, but what she loved most was being a homemaker, spending time with her family and working in her flower beds.
A graveside service will be held Friday, May 29, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Mount View Cemetery in Rileyville, conducted by Pastor Charlie Turner. There will be a meal afterwards at Rileyville Gospel Church.
