Jane Louise Good

Jane Louise Heiser Turner Good, 91, of Stanley, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg.

She was born on December 17, 1934, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Clarence Thomas Heiser and Elsie Mae Lucas Heiser.

Jane was a member of the Stanley Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by two husbands, John Franklin Turner and Winfred Amos Good.

Jane is survived by 3 daughters, Sharon DeHaven, Pam Dowrey and husband George Dowrey, and Jeannie Turner and partner Jesse Carr; 6 grandchildren, Anthony Lee Turner and partner Tori Bruce, Brian Bradley and wife Lisa Bradley, Brandon Tate, Lindsay Orebaugh and husband Tyler Orebaugh, George Dowrey IV and wife Morgan Dowrey, and Olivia Miller and husband Ty Miller; 14 great-grandchildren, Makala Tate Moyer and husband Jacob Moyer, Tanner Bradley and partner Avery Herring, Hagan Bradley, Kenedy Tate, Lane Miller, Lincoln Billheimer, Peyton Bradley, Zaiden Simmons, Gracie Orebaugh, Nala Turner, Eli Miller, Carter Orebaugh, Cam Miller, and George Dowrey V; and 2 great-great-grandchildren, Kolson Moyer and Mattox Moyer.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, May 4, at the Stanley Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5, at the church by Pastor Bobby Wade. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Luray.
