James Franklin Strickler, 60, of Luray, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Winchester Medical Center.
He was born on Nov. 17, 1959, in Luray and was a son of Franklin Walter Strickler and Frances Ann Sours Strickler of Luray.
James worked for more than 35 years at various grocery stores, including A&P as a meat cutter.
On Sept. 17, 2013, he married Kimberly Griffith Strickler, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his parents and his wife are a daughter, Jami Sedwick and husband David of Luray; a son, Jason Strickler and wife Jennifer of Luray; a stepdaughter, Karissa Hensh; two brothers, David Wayne and wife Alice and Phillip and wife Lynn Strickler of Luray; and four grandchildren, Alyssa Sedwick, Benjamin Sedwick, Levi Strickler and Austin, Strickler, all of Luray.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, at the Bradley Funeral Home by the Rev. Deanna Boynton.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, June 22, at the funeral home.
Friends may sign the register book on Monday from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
