James Michael Alger

James Michael Alger, 65, of Stanley, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.

He was born on December 24, 1959, and was a son of the late Robert Edward Alger Sr. and Violet Louise Bowling Alger.

James is survived by a daughter, Samantha Barnes of Luray; a son, Jeremy Alger of Luray; a sister, Barbara Ann Bryant of Oklahoma; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Martin Craig Alger, Robert "Bobby" Alger and Randolph Eugene Alger.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, at the Bradley Funeral Home.
