James Hughes Obituary

James Everette Hughes, 83, of Luray, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026.

He was born on December 25, 1942, in Virginia and was a son of the late Everette Rulenan Hughes and Treva Marie Comer Hughes.

On March 25, 1983, James married Brenda Beckler Hughes, who survives.

In addition to his wife, James is survived by two sisters, Sherian Biller and Sandra Delogronge; three brothers, Carl Lee Hughes, Robert Hughes and Richard Hughes; and one daughter.

As per his wishes, there will be no services.
