Isaac Nelson Good

Isaac Nelson Good, 87, of Stanley, passed away on Monday, Feb. 24, 2020.

He was born on Aug. 31, 1932, in Stanley and was a son of the late Leonard Franklin Good and Lillie Mae Fauver Good.

Isaac was an Army veteran and had worked as a shipping and receiving clerk at Blue Bell (Wrangler). He was a member of the Stanley Seventh-day Adventist Church.

On June 18, 1953, he married Carrie Elizabeth Nicholson Good, who died on March 16, 2007.

He is survived by two daughters, Donna Jean Simmons and Darlene Good, both of Stanley; a brother, Billy Good of Stanley; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and special friends, Janet Judd, James Hilliard and Marty Stroupe. He was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Nelson Good; and a brother, Alfred Good.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, at the Stanley Seventh-day Adventist Church by Pastor Richard Rechichar. Burial will be in the Stanley Advent Cemetery.

The family was to receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at the church.
