Hunter Miller, 87, formerly of Luray, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Woods Cove Assisted Living in Front Royal, where he had resided for the past eight years.
He was born on August 3, 1937, in Luray and was a son of the late Titus Clyde Miller and Grace Elizabeth Fox Miller.
Hunter was a member of the Morning Star Lutheran Church in Luray.
He enjoyed his time at Woods Cove Assisted Living. In the final months of his life, the care Hunter received from the staff there and from Gentiva Hospice was heartfelt and loving.
He is survived by a sister, Isabell Stoneberger of Luray; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy Granville Miller and Ray Miller.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 7, at the Morning Star Lutheran Cemetery by Pastor Jeffrey D. Marble and Chaplain Stephen Mathis.
