Hilda Mae (Foltz) Price

Hilda Mae Price, 93, of Stanley, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

She was born on April 21, 1931, in Virginia and was a daughter of the late Nelson and Grace Foltz.

Hilda was a member of the Newport Church of the Brethren for more than 50 years. She loved spending time with her family and especially spoiling her grandkids. Hilda enjoyed the outdoors, including trips across Skyline Drive, fishing and hunting for arrowheads.

On October 27, 1951, she married Charles Lionel Price, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, Tim Price and wife Kim of Stanley; a brother, Kenneth Foltz of Stanley; a sister, Shelby Jarrels of Shenandoah; two grandsons, Joshua Price and wife Nikki of Shenandoah, and Matthew Price and wife Erin of Stanley; and two great-grandchildren, Olivia Price and Charlie Seal. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Janie Price; and two sisters, Retha Morris and Mildred Smith.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 7, at the Newport Cemetery in Shenandoah by Pastor Duane Painter.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, at the Newport Church of the Brethren.
