Helen Mae Hilliard, 70, of Stanley, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
She was born on July 28, 1955, in Stanley and was a daughter of the late Raymond Haskell Blosser and Flossie Virginia Good Blosser.
Helen had worked as a bus driver for Page County Public Schools for 15 years. She was a member of the Luray Pentecostal Church.
On October 25, 1975, she married Larry Hilliard, who, survives.
In addition to her husband, Helen is survived by two daughters, Bridget Sours and husband Jonathan of Stanley, and Raven Smith and husband Jeremy of Elkton; a brother, Raymond H. Blosser Jr. of Luray; five grandchildren, Justin Sours and wife Cheyenne, Selina Prince and husband Jesse, Jared Sours and wife Brooklyn, Rylee Pierce and husband Christian, and Cutter Knight; and six great-grandchildren, Kynslee Prince, Weston Prince, Bailey Sours, Colson Sours, Emery Pierce and Reid Pierce. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary R. Blosser and Arthur Ray Blosser; and four sisters, Brenda Lillard, Alda Painter, Emma Brown and Wanda Clatterbuck.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 18, at the Luray Pentecostal Church by the Rev. Daniel D. Herring, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 a.m. Burial will be in the Leake’s Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.
