Gregory Enoch Painter

Gregory Enoch Painter, 62, of Luray, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

He was born on September 26, 1963, in Page County and was a son of the late George Painter and Judith Anne Judd Painter.

On July 8, 1995, Gregory married Ruby Sours Painter, who survives.

In addition to his wife, Gregory is survived by a brother, Chris Painter of Stanley; and a sister, Deborah Winecoff of Chesterfield. He was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Ray Painter.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, at the Leake’s Chapel Cemetery in Stanley by Pastor Charles Turner.
