Gerry Lee Jeffers, 78, of Stanley, passed away on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, at Consulate Health Care in Woodstock.

She was born on May 1, 1943, in Laurel, Miss., and was a daughter of Boris Durant of Fort Worth, Texas, and the late Geraldine Faye Grimes Durant.

On Jan. 20, 1980, Gerry married Alan Jeffers, who survives.

Surviving in addition to her father and her husband are two daughters, Michelle Brown of Baltimore, Md., and Deborah Middendorf of York, Pa.; a son, Daniel Durant of Bedford, Texas; two brothers, Michael Durant of Baltimore, Md., and Steven Durant of Fort Worth, Texas; and a granddaughter, Khara Truelove.
