George P. Melini Sr, 78, of Stanley, VA passed away at home on June 10, 2021. George was born in Bologna Italy, and grew up in East Vineland, NJ. He worked as a bricklayer foreman and was a member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers. George enjoyed barrel racing and gameshows. He was a past member of the Game Horse Association of New Jersey and the National Barrel Horse Association. However, his greatest joys in life were watching his daughter, Bailey, compete in barrel racing and his son, Jared, play varsity and travel soccer.

                George is survived by his wife Wendy, children George Jr., Freddy, Jimmy, Johnny, Joey, Bailey and Jared, grandchildren Amanda and Jimmy Jr., 3 great grandchildren and his sister, Mirna.

                Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday, June 19th from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland, NJ, with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM. Inurment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetary, Newfield, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Funny Farm Rescue, 6908 Railroad Blvd, Mays Landing, NJ.
