Gary Allen Gochenour

Gary Allen Gochenour, 69, of Luray, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Skyview Springs Nursing and Rehab.

He was born on October 18, 1956, in Luray and was a son of the late Lawrence Gochenour and Virginia Maude Dodson Gochenour.

Gary is survived by a brother, Roger Gochenour of Luray; three sisters, Peggy Reed, Betty Cubbage and Virginia Stidham, all of Luray; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Linda Pettit, Kathryn A. Spain and Jean Gochenour; and four brothers, Billy J. Spain, Louis L. Spain, Wayne Spain and Charles Spain.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 19, at the Bradley Funeral Home by the Rev. Donnie Sherfey, with visitation one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 p.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Luray.
