Frances Ann (Comer) Moyer

Frances Ann Moyer, 75, of Luray, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. 
She was born on January 17, 1947, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Richard Trenton Comer and Phoebe Ann Painter Comer. 
Frances studied cosmetology and later in life enjoyed serving as a caregiver for the young and elderly. 
On October 21, 1965, she married Douglas M. Moyer, who died on October 18, 2010. 
She is survived by three daughters, Teresa "Terri" Buchanan of and husband Stacey of Statesville N.C., Angela Wallace, and Kimberly Anderson and husband Joey of Luray; a brother, Larry Comer of Shenandoah; three sisters, Brenda Sue Lansberry of Rileyville, Nancy Knott of Waynesboro, and Patricia Shifflett of Stanley; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and her beloved pets, Coco, Callie and Paisley. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Good. 
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 31, at the Calvary Independent Brethren Church in Stanley by Pastor Charles Turner.
