Emily Morgan Hilliard

Emily Morgan Hilliard, 29, of Shenandoah, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

She was born on February 17, 1996, in Charlottesville and was a daughter of Wayne Dewitt Hilliard and Pamela Kaye Wood Hilliard of Luray.

Emily was a graduate of Luray High School, Class of 2014. She had worked as a phlebotomist at Sentara RMH Medical Center for more than 5 years.

In addition to her parents, Emily is survived by her fiancé, Aaron Comer; her son, Declan Comer; a sister, Hannah Hilliard; her grandmother, Barbara Wood; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 2, at the Bradley Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, at the funeral home by Pastor Donnie Sherfey. Burial will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Luray.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bradley Funeral Home to help the family with expenses.
